Job Description

This opportunity is for an experienced Cath Lab Technologist specializing in cardiac imaging procedures. The role requires a skilled professional to support interventional and diagnostic cardiac catheterization in a high-acuity environment. The position is travel-based and located in Stone Mountain, GA, with a structured Monday through Friday schedule from 6:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. over a 13-week assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex cardiac catheterization procedures including Left Heart Cath, Right Heart Cath, High Risk PCI, Pacemaker insertions, Peripheral Procedures, Structural Heart interventions, EMCO, and EKOS treatments.
  • Prepare and maintain imaging equipment and sterile environments.
  • Collaborate closely with cardiologists, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure patient safety and procedure efficacy.
  • Monitor patient condition throughout procedures and respond to emergencies appropriately.
  • Document all procedural details accurately per regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience specifically in cardiac catheterization labs.
  • Associate degree in health science or completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Radiology program (CVT/Radiology).
  • Certification from AART or RCIS required.
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory.
  • Proven hands-on experience with interventional and diagnostic cardiac procedures.
  • Familiarity with advanced catheter lab technologies and procedures.

Assignment Details:

  • Location: Stone Mountain, GA.
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:45 a.m. 5:15 p.m.
  • Length: 13 weeks.
  • Travel assignment with no local candidates available within a 50-mile radius.
