Job Description

Bring your expertise in imaging to a facility committed to delivering excellent patient care. As a Cath Lab Technologist on a contract basis, you will play a key role in performing and assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring patient safety, and supporting a high-functioning cardiology team.

Schedule:

What Youll Need:

  • Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • Completion of an accredited imaging or radiologic technology program
  • Current ARRT or RCIS certification (or eligibility)
  • Active and unencumbered state license or registry as required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Strong understanding of cardiac and vascular anatomy, imaging protocols, and sterile procedures
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals
  • Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and assist in all cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cases
  • Operate imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety
  • Monitor and assess patients during procedures for adverse reactions or complications
  • Maintain accurate documentation of imaging results and procedural activities
  • Adhere to infection control and radiation safety guidelines
  • Perform pre- and post-procedure equipment checks and maintenance
  • Provide support and reassurance to patients and families
