A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced Cath Lab Technician with proficiency in diagnostic and interventional procedures, including structural interventions. This contract position requires a minimum of one year of hands-on experience in all aspects of Cath Lab operations. Candidates must demonstrate competence in managing a daily caseload of 8 to 10 cases efficiently, ensuring high-quality patient care within a fast-paced acute care setting.

Shift details include a 4x10-hour day schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call responsibilities during weekends. The on-call rotation requires a 30-minute response time, covering from Friday 7 PM through Monday 7 AM, alternating between first and backup call shifts. While there may be occasional floating within the Cath Lab scope to meet facility needs, floating to sister facilities is not required. Candidates should possess an active West Virginia license and be ARRT registered; applications with pending licenses are accepted provided the active license is obtained before assignment start.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Cath Lab Technician with proficiency in diagnostic and interventional procedures, including structural
• Active West Virginia state license required prior to start
• ARRT registration required
• Ability to handle 8-10 cases per day efficiently
• On-call availability with a 30-minute response time during weekends
• Competent with Cerner charting system preferred
• Compliance with hospital scrub color code (provided)

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab procedures with accuracy and safety
• Assist interdisciplinary teams in acute care delivery within a Level IV Trauma Center environment
• Respond promptly to on-call emergencies following established protocols
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with procedural documentation via Cerner
• Adhere to hospital and safety regulations to ensure quality care
