Job Description

Assignment Details:

  • Schedule: MondayFriday, 10-hour shifts (40 hours per week)
  • Call Requirements: On-call 1014 days per schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Weekends required: Weekend call is necessary (no on-site weekend shift unless called in)
  • Length: 13 weeks

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Associate of Science degree or completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Tech program
  • At least 1 years experience in Cath, IR, and EP (circulating and scrubbing roles)
  • Expertise in Impella and structural heart cases (TAVR, Watchman/Amulet, PFO, Mitral Clip)
  • Experience with implanted medical devices such as PPM, IABP, ICDs, and ablation procedures
  • Current ARRTR license
  • Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT) with the Texas Department of Health
  • BLS and ACLS certified via the American Heart Association
  • Proficient with EPIQ ultrasound equipment
  • COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption is mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver top-tier patient care and technical support for cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
  • Assist with diverse cardiac, vascular, and interventional therapiesincluding emergent interventionsunder physician guidance
  • Maintain adherence to practice standards and ensure compliance with established protocols
