Assignment Details:
- Schedule: MondayFriday, 10-hour shifts (40 hours per week)
- Call Requirements: On-call 1014 days per schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Weekends required: Weekend call is necessary (no on-site weekend shift unless called in)
- Length: 13 weeks
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Associate of Science degree or completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Tech program
- At least 1 years experience in Cath, IR, and EP (circulating and scrubbing roles)
- Expertise in Impella and structural heart cases (TAVR, Watchman/Amulet, PFO, Mitral Clip)
- Experience with implanted medical devices such as PPM, IABP, ICDs, and ablation procedures
- Current ARRTR license
- Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT) with the Texas Department of Health
- BLS and ACLS certified via the American Heart Association
- Proficient with EPIQ ultrasound equipment
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption is mandatory
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver top-tier patient care and technical support for cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
- Assist with diverse cardiac, vascular, and interventional therapiesincluding emergent interventionsunder physician guidance
- Maintain adherence to practice standards and ensure compliance with established protocols
