Advance your imaging career by providing expertise as a Cath Lab Technologist in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role offers a 13-week contract commitment with rewarding opportunities for professionals passionate about cardiac imaging and patient care.
Schedule/Hours:
- Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- 40 hours per week, plus call
- Call: 1-2 nights per week
- Weekend: Every 3rd weekend (Friday 5 PM to Monday 7 AM)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
- One of the following certifications is required: RCIS or CERT-ARRT-CV
- In-depth knowledge of interventional imaging, hemodynamics, and sterile technique
- Strong organizational skills with ability to remain composed in fast-paced, high-acuity cases
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians in advanced cardiac catheterization procedures, including angiograms, stent placements, and device implantation
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring optimal imaging and patient comfort
- Monitor and record patient vitals, documenting clinical findings and interventions
- Coordinate with team members to manage call coverage and facilitate seamless patient care
- Adhere to all regulatory standards and best practices related to imaging, infection control, and radiation safety
