A skilled Cath Lab Technologist position is available in Sanford, FL, offering a focused opportunity to apply your expertise in cardiac imaging and catheterization procedures. This contract role requires a professional with a minimum of two years experience in catheterization labs, ready to contribute to patient care with precision and efficiency.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Current certification: RCIS, CERT-ARRT-CV, or equivalent credential
- Proficient in imaging and operation of cath lab equipment
- Ability to manage complex cardiac catheterization procedures
- Capacity to respond effectively during on-call shifts
Schedule / Hours:
- Day shift: 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- 40 hours per week, plus on-call
- Call schedule: 1-2 nights per week
- Weekend rotation: every 3rd weekend, starting Friday at 5 PM through Monday at 7 AM
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Operate cath lab imaging equipment with precision
- Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with safety and infection control protocols
- Provide on-call coverage as scheduled, responding promptly to urgent cases
