Qualifications & Experience:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technologist program
- Current ARRT (R) or RCIS certification required
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred)
- Minimum 1 year recent experience within a Cardiac Catheterization Lab
- Proficient with fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitoring, and sterile technique
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technology and facility protocols
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, operate, and maintain imaging and monitoring equipment for cardiac procedures
- Assist the interventional cardiologist as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Ensure safe patient care before, during, and after diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Document all relevant procedure and patient information accurately
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety, and privacy guidelines
- Participate in professional development meetings and continuing education as required
