An exciting contract opportunity is available for an experienced Cath Lab Technologist in a well-equipped hospital setting. This role is ideal for professionals with a passion for cardiovascular imaging and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic catheterization laboratory.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Active ARRT or RCIS certification required
- Must possess a WA DOH CVIS or RT credential and a current Washington State license
- Advanced knowledge of imaging procedures, protocols, and equipment used in a cardiac cath lab
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and patient safety
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures within the cardiac catheterization laboratory, adhering to established protocols
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and patient safety at all times
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, providing assistance as needed to the medical team
- Accurately document all procedures and maintain patient records in compliance with hospital standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support the highest standards of patient care
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment
