Job Description

This opportunity is for an experienced Imaging Cath Lab Technician to support cardiac catheterization procedures in a well-equipped healthcare environment. The role requires a professional who can perform imaging studies accurately and efficiently, working closely under the direction of Cardiologists and Imaging Leadership to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with cardiac catheterization imaging procedures, ensuring quality and patient safety
  • Perform studies promptly, maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio in the cath lab
  • Collaborate closely with Cardiologists, Chief Technologists, and Imaging Directors
  • Utilize imaging systems including Medhost EMR and MacLab efficiently
  • Maintain sterile field protocols and adhere to scrub color guidelines

Desired Experience and Qualifications

  • RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification from AHA or ARC
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
  • Ability to work day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with call every other week
  • Candidates must reside over 50 miles from the facility to qualify

Additional Details

  • Contract position with immediate start
  • No 48-hour option and no block scheduling
  • Max return to office (RTO) of 3 days
