Qualifications:

• Current certification or registry as a Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS or equivalent preferred)
• Proven experience in diagnostic and interventional procedures in a cath lab setting
• Comprehensive knowledge of imaging equipment, sterile techniques, and radiation safety protocols
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and procedures
• Ability to function efficiently in fast-paced, high-acuity scenarios
• Effective communication skills and adaptability to multidisciplinary teams
• BLS and ACLS certification required

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate diagnostic imaging equipment for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Assist physicians during cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures, maintaining aseptic techniques
• Monitor patients vital signs and document procedural events accurately
• Administer contrast media as directed and observe for adverse reactions
• Perform quality control checks and troubleshooting on imaging equipment
• Ensure accurate patient records and adherence to confidentiality standards
• Maintain a safe procedure room environment in compliance with infection control and hospital policies
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other technologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes

$3,388 - $3,584/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
