Job Description
Support cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures in a dynamic cath lab environment located in Park Ridge, IL. This contract role offers the opportunity to work in a well-equipped unit featuring four procedure rooms and fifteen prep/recovery bays with a 1:1 patient ratio. Scrubs are provided onsite for your convenience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scrub and assist physicians during structural heart, complex coronary, peripheral, and electrophysiology (EP) procedures
- Handle pacemaker and Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillator (ICD) implantations with precision
- Maintain adherence to safety standards and patient care protocols in the cath lab setting
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Cath Lab Tech with a strong background in electrophysiology
- Proven experience working with pacemakers and ICDs
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Active Illinois state license (IEMA), BLS, and ARRT certifications required
- ACLS and familiarity with EPIC systems are highly preferred, though not mandatory
