Job Description

This contract role in the Cath/EP Lab leverages advanced imaging and cardiovascular skills, supporting a dedicated team at a respected facility offering leading-edge heart care and innovative treatments.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 7:00 AM 4:30 PM
  • Four 10-hour or five 8-hour shifts, with late stays and on-call rotation as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • ARRT or RCIS certification (or eligibility to obtain RCIS certification within three years if not ARRT registered as a Radiologic Technologist)
  • Proficiency in at least two of the following: EP circulating, scrubbing, or monitoring
  • Familiarity with advanced procedures including TAVR, Watchman, PCI, peripheral interventions, Impella, and balloon pump operations
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, adapting to float between the Cath lab, holding area, EP lab, or related units within scope

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality imaging and technical support during cardiac diagnostics and interventions
  • Operate advanced equipment including GE flouro, Mac Lab, Acist, Volcano, IVUS, Angiojet, and Penumbra
  • Document patient care using Mac Lab and Meditech systems
  • Collaborate closely with RNs, techs, and leadership to maintain patient safety and exceptional outcomes
  • Uphold hospital guidelines, including adherence to dress code (scrubs provided)
