Job Description

Deliver excellence in cardiac care as an Imaging - Cath Lab Tech in a dynamic contract opportunity. This role calls for someone who thrives in a high-acuity environment, committed to supporting cardiovascular health in a renowned, award-winning hospital.

Schedule:

  • Shift: 7:00 AM 4:30 PM
  • Call rotation required; possibility of late stays
  • May work 4x10 or 5x8 shifts based on unit needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in a variety of advanced cardiovascular procedures, including TAVR, Watchman, PCI, peripherals, Impella, and balloon pumps
  • Circulate, scrub, and/or monitor in the Cath and EP labs, utilizing advanced skills in at least two of these roles
  • Operate and maintain state-of-the-art equipment such as GE flouro, Mac Lab, Acist, Volcano, IVUS, Angiojet, and Penumbra
  • Ensure accurate documentation using Mac Lab and MediTech systems
  • Collaborate closely alongside RNs, techs, and physicians in a two-room Cath lab and dedicated EP lab
  • Participate in float assignments to holding, EP lab, or related areas within scope of practice as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Current ACLS and BLS certification
  • ARRT or RCIS certification (or within 3 years of hire if not a Rad Technologist with ARRT)
  • Demonstrated experience in EP lab procedures and at least two of the following: circulating, scrubbing, monitoring
  • Familiarity with hospital policies around dress code and quality guidelines; scrubs provided per policy
