Job Description
Embark on an impactful contract opportunity as a Cath Lab Technologist within a leading acute care environment, delivering advanced cardiac and vascular interventions. The specialized team relies on innovative technology, expert care, and a direct approach to improving patient lives across Seminole and west Volusia counties.
Schedule:
- 7:00AM 4:30PM
- Cath lab scheduling includes four 10-hour or five 8-hour shifts
- Late stays and on-call rotation required
Qualifications:
- ARRT or RCIS certification (within 3 years of hire if not already ARRT registered)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Advanced proficiency in EP circulating, scrubbing, or monitoring (minimum of two skills)
- Previous experience in high-volume cath/EP labs preferred
- Ability and flexibility to float to holding areas or other labs as necessary
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently assist with procedures such as TAVR, Watchman, PCI, peripheral interventions, Impella, and balloon pump cases
- Operate and maintain sophisticated imaging equipment (GE fluoro, Mac Lab, Acist, Volcano, IVUS, Angiojet, Penumbra)
- Accurately document procedures within Mac Lab and Meditech systems
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, techs, leadership, and ancillary staff
- Deliver exceptional patient care and support, upholding patient experience standards
