Job Description

Expand your imaging expertise in a dynamic Cath Lab environment. This contract opportunity offers professionals the chance to work with advanced technologies in a collaborative procedural setting. You will be an essential part of a skilled clinical team, supporting a range of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures with state-of-the-art equipment.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week
  • Expected to work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotations
  • On-call rotation: approximately 15-18 days per month

Qualifications & Experience:

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Tech in a hospital setting
  • Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
  • RCIS, RCES, or RT(R) required
  • Proficiency in scrubbing for LHC, RHC, PCI, STEMI, and peripheral procedures
  • Ability to monitor within the cath lab setting
  • Familiarity with operating GE Innova, OCT, Boston IVUS, Impella, IABP, RotoPro, CSI, and Penumbra devices
  • Experience with Meditech/MacLab documentation systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist and support in a variety of cardiovascular procedures, including STEMI, heart catheterizations, PCI, stroke interventions, and carotid/peripheral stenting
  • Rotate through prep and recovery areas as needed
  • Adhere to facility policies, including scheduled shifts, dress code (ceil blue scrubs supplied), and support for peers during on-call and holiday coverage
  • Contribute to a team recognized with GWTG Awards (CAD, Mission Lifeline, Afib, CHF) and benefit from newer procedure rooms and equipment
