Job Description

An opportunity is available for an experienced Imaging Cath Lab Technician to support cardiovascular procedures in a high-acuity catheterization lab. This contract role is based in Opa Locka, FL, offering a dynamic clinical environment with advanced cardiac care technologies.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including coronary, structural heart, and peripheral interventions
  • Operate and maintain Cath Lab equipment such as MacLab, GE, and Philips systems
  • Support electrophysiology (EP) studies and related procedures
  • Accurately document patient data using Meditech system
  • Collaborate closely with clinical staff to maintain patient safety and high-quality care standards
  • Participate in on-call rotations covering evenings and weekends as required

Qualifications:

  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory
  • Certification as Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Radiology Technician required
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated teamwork abilities and compassion in patient care delivery

Schedule:

  • Primarily day shift coverage with no night shifts
  • On-call availability including evenings and weekends
