Step into a vital role as an experienced Cath Lab Technologist, taking your professional skills to new heights in a full-time position with four 10-hour shifts each week. This opportunity offers rotating call and requires flexibility for occasional weekend, holiday, and floating coverage. Desired start date is as soon as possible for the right candidate.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Cath Lab Tech
- Certification required: ARRT or RCIS
- Demonstrated proficiency with radiographic diagnostic and interventional special procedures
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to apply evidence-based practices
- Previous leadership or preceptor experience is highly valued
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform diverse and skilled cath lab duties, ensuring adherence to departmental protocols and provider orders
- Apply independent clinical judgment, following established policies and best practices
- Serve as a mentor, supporting and orienting new or transferring staff and fostering a culture of professional growth
- Act as a role model for patient safety and quality clinical standards
- Participate in onboarding physicians and supporting staff development within the cath lab team
