Desired Qualifications:

  • ARRT certification (or equivalent, as required by state)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab
  • Proficiency with imaging and monitoring equipment utilized in the Cath Lab
  • Thorough understanding of invasive cardiovascular procedures
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and accountability in high-stakes situations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath procedures
  • Operate and maintain imaging machinery and hemodynamic monitoring systems
  • Scrub, circulate, and monitor during procedures, ensuring patient safety at all times
  • Accurately document and verify patient records and procedure information
  • Uphold strict adherence to sterile techniques, infection control, and quality assurance protocols
  • Provide patient education and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
