Nestled in the heart of Niceville, FL, this travel Cath Lab Tech position invites you to work in one of the panhandles most scenic locales, offering sparkling coastlines and nearby vibrant communities to explore in your downtime. Youll be joining a fast-paced cardiac cath lab that uses the latest GE Innova systems and supports a collaborative, highly experienced team. The hospital is known for its robust cardiac program, offering open heart surgery, advanced stroke care, and an accredited chest pain center. With a schedule offering self-scheduling flexibility and STEMI call approximately 10-12 days per month, youll find a balance of dynamic work and time to enjoy all the region offers.
Schedule/Hours:
- MondayFriday, 7:00 AM5:30 PM
- Self-scheduling options
- STEMI call about 10-12 days/month
Key Qualifications:
- ARRT or RCIS certification required
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum recent experience in a cath lab setting
- Proficiency with GE Innova equipment, MacLab, Meditech systems
- Advanced skills: PCI, PFO closure, Impella, IABP, structural heart procedures, TAVR, Atherectomy, DCCV, TEE
- Ability to float across EP and Stress Lab as needed
Responsibilities:
- Assist with a range of interventional cardiac procedures, including TAVR, PCIs, device implants, and use of advanced support devices (Impella, IABP)
- Monitor and document patient status throughout procedures
- Collaborate with an expert team of nurses, techs, and physicians
- Maintain strict adherence to hospital protocols and patient safety standards
