Step into an essential role in cardiac patient care, utilizing your expertise as a Cath Lab Tech to support interventional cardiology procedures. This contract position offers a full-time, 40-hour work week, allowing you to contribute meaningfully in a dynamic healthcare environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team focused on excellence in patient outcomes.

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Current certification and registration as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Demonstrated proficiency with imaging and cardiac catheterization procedures
• Strong understanding of sterile techniques and safety standards
• Ability to provide technical support during invasive cardiac procedures
• Experience with monitoring patients under conscious sedation preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• BLS/ACLS certification (as required by position)
• Detail-oriented, with strong critical thinking abilities

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain cath lab equipment, ensuring all instruments are ready for each procedure
• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including setup, operation of imaging equipment, and patient monitoring
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
• Document procedures and patient responses accurately and timely in medical records
• Support in patient preparation, transport, and post-procedure care as needed
• Collaborate closely with nurses, interventional cardiologists, and other allied health professionals to deliver seamless care

$2,322 - $2,448/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
