Step into a dynamic healthcare environment as a Cath Lab Technologist, specializing in invasive cardiac procedures. The role centers on providing high-quality imaging support for cardiac catheterizations and other interventional procedures.
Schedule:
- 17-week contract
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
- On-call rotation every other weekend and every third weekend, plus two additional days during the week
Qualifications:
- Current certification: RT(R) or RCIS
- Valid BLS & ACLS certifications required
- Demonstrated experience working in a Cardiac Cath Lab or interventional imaging setting
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, and sterile procedure techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and respond efficiently to emergent situations
- Excellent communication skills and attention to patient safety protocols
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the cath lab suite for daily procedures and ensure proper functioning of equipment
- Assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular procedures, monitoring patient status and technical parameters throughout
- Perform scrub, circulate, and monitor duties as needed during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Maintain accurate records, including procedural documentation and patient information
- Adhere to infection control standards and hospital policies at all times
- Provide patient care before, during, and after procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
