Step into a dynamic healthcare environment as a Cardiac Cath Lab Invasive Technologist, where you will be integral to delivering high-quality imaging and cardiovascular care. Work closely with physicians and a collaborative clinical team to support innovative procedures and ensure patients receive exceptional, compassionate attention.
Schedule/Hours:
- 17-week contract
- 7:00am 3:30pm
- On-call rotation based on unit needs
- Every third weekend
- Additional two on-call days during the week
Qualifications:
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Active RT(R) or RCIS credentials
- Demonstrated experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or in a similar imaging role
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and invasive cardiovascular procedures
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work effectively in urgent and high-pressure clinical settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality cardiovascular imaging procedures within the Cardiac Cath Lab
- Collaborate with physicians during invasive procedures, providing technical support and ensuring patient safety
- Prepare and operate imaging equipment, maintaining strict adherence to protocols
- Accurately document procedural activities and patient information
- Help facilitate timely patient flow while prioritizing care and comfort
- Participate in regular on-call rotations to deliver critical care support beyond regular hours
