Job Description

This role involves supporting cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures by preparing radiographic equipment, assisting patients, and working closely with the clinical team to ensure smooth lab operations. The ideal candidate brings technical skills and hands-on experience in imaging within the cath lab environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in patient preparation, sterile tray setup, post-procedure care, and room cleanup (35%)
  • Manipulate radiographic equipment and adjust generator settings to produce optimal images (35%)
  • Operate electronic monitoring equipment such as cardiac output computers, oxygen saturation devices, hemodynamic monitors, and pacemakers; perform oxygen saturation studies and cardiac output measurements (30%)
  • Collaborate with cath lab staff and physicians to support efficient workflow during angiographic procedures

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Previous experience in cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology settings
  • Proficiency in handling and setting up radiographic and electronic monitoring equipment
  • Strong understanding of sterile techniques and patient care protocols in invasive procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
