Job Description

Join a specialized Cath Lab team in Miami, FL, supporting critical cardiovascular procedures in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with advanced imaging technologies and a skilled team focused on patient-centered cardiac care.

Location Overview:
Located in Miamis vibrant South Miami Avenue corridor, this hospital offers a modern second-floor Cath Lab unit with 33 beds and a dedicated team of 23 staff members. The facility features state-of-the-art equipment, including MacLab, GE, and Philips systems, and utilizes the Meditech documentation system to streamline clinical workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures including catheterizations, interventional coronary cases, structural heart interventions, and peripheral vascular procedures
  • Collaborate closely with cardiologists, nurses, and support staff to ensure efficient patient care within a 3:1 patient ratio
  • Operate and maintain specialized Cath Lab imaging equipment in compliance with safety and procedural standards
  • Document all procedures accurately into electronic medical records
  • Participate in on-call rotations covering evenings and weekends as required

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications mandatory
  • Certified Vascular Technologist (CVT) or Radiology Technologist with experience in Cath Lab imaging
  • Familiarity with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular imaging techniques
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong critical thinking skills and compassionate patient care approach

Schedule:

  • Day shift hours; no night shifts currently scheduled
