Engage in a specialized role as a Cath Lab Imaging Technician at a 33-bed cardiac unit located in vibrant Miami Beach, FL. This contract position is situated on the 2nd floor of a leading hospital's main building, offering hands-on experience with advanced cardiac care technologies including MacLab, GE, and Philips imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support a skilled team in performing a range of cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures such as coronary angiography, structural heart interventions, and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Operate and maintain cath lab imaging equipment, ensuring high standards of safety and quality.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to deliver precise cardiovascular diagnostic and therapeutic services.
• Document procedures efficiently using Meditech electronic health records.
• Respond to call requirements during evenings and weekends as essential to unit operations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) are mandatory.
• Proven experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Radiology Technician with specific cath lab/ imaging skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
• Critical thinking skills combined with a compassionate approach toward patient care.
