Job Description
Seeking a skilled professional to serve as an Invasive Technologist specializing in the Cardiac Cath Lab for a 17-week contract assignment. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment where expertise in imaging is essential to support cardiac procedures and patient outcomes.
Schedule:
- 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
- On-call rotation as needed
- Every other weekend; every third weekend on call
- Additional on-call two weekdays per week
Qualifications:
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
- RT(R) or RCIS credential required
- Proven experience working as a Cath Lab Technologist or in a related imaging-focused position
- Strong understanding of invasive cardiac procedures
- Exceptional communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Support physicians and the healthcare team during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure high-quality diagnostic results
- Prepare lab/OR for procedures including setting up sterile fields, instruments, and necessary supplies
- Monitor patient status throughout procedures, responding swiftly to any complications
- Comply with safety protocols and maintain documentation on all performed procedures
- Collaborate with nurses, radiologists, and cardiologists to ensure optimal patient care
