This opportunity is ideal for skilled Cath Lab Technicians with expertise in imaging procedures within catheterization laboratories. You will play a critical role in supporting cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care through precise imaging techniques and effective teamwork in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain catheterization laboratory equipment and imaging devices
- Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and help maintain a sterile field throughout procedures
- Calibrate and operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality cardiovascular images
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care before, during, and after procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and infection control protocols
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Certification as a Cath Lab Technician or Cardiovascular Technologist preferred
- Proficiency in operating imaging equipment specific to catheterization labs
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure clinical situations
