Schedule/Hours
- Day shift
- On-Call Rotation: Weeknights, Weekends, Holidays
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiology program
- IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation
- ARRT(R) certification
- ARRT(VI) or ARRT(CI) certification
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS required
- Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately verify patient identity and procedure consents
- Assess allergies, contrast history, and pre-procedural vital signs
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields and equipment, including medication verification
- Monitor patients throughout procedures, assist with access site prep, and participate in pre-procedure time-outs
- Set up and operate imaging/contrast equipment, assisting with various interventional procedures
- Prepare/administer injectable medications as ordered
- Respond to clinical emergencies and monitor equipment status
- Practice and uphold radiation safety protocols and documentation
- Acquire, process, and reconstruct digital images, optimizing image quality
- Provide post-procedural care, including monitoring and dressing sites
- Offer educational support to students and colleagues in clinical practice
