Schedule/Hours

  • Day shift
  • On-Call Rotation: Weeknights, Weekends, Holidays

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited radiology program
  • IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation
  • ARRT(R) certification
  • ARRT(VI) or ARRT(CI) certification
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS required
  • Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately verify patient identity and procedure consents
  • Assess allergies, contrast history, and pre-procedural vital signs
  • Prepare and maintain sterile fields and equipment, including medication verification
  • Monitor patients throughout procedures, assist with access site prep, and participate in pre-procedure time-outs
  • Set up and operate imaging/contrast equipment, assisting with various interventional procedures
  • Prepare/administer injectable medications as ordered
  • Respond to clinical emergencies and monitor equipment status
  • Practice and uphold radiation safety protocols and documentation
  • Acquire, process, and reconstruct digital images, optimizing image quality
  • Provide post-procedural care, including monitoring and dressing sites
  • Offer educational support to students and colleagues in clinical practice
