Assignment Details:
- 13-week commitment
Qualifications:
- Active registration as RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- A minimum of two years of experience working in a Cath Lab setting
- Strong technical skills in imaging and catheterization laboratory procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with current safety protocols and high standards of patient care
Responsibilities:
- Operate imaging equipment and assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Prepare and maintain the Cath Lab for daily operations, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready for use
- Monitor vital signs, document patient data, and provide updates to the healthcare team as needed
- Ensure adherence to best practices for infection control and radiation safety
- Provide patient support and education throughout the procedure, maintaining comfort and safety
