Job Description

This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Cath Lab Technician with specialized Electrophysiology (EP) experience, particularly in Stimming. The role is based in Littleton, CO, at a large medical center known for advanced cardiovascular care with 480 beds and multiple cath labs. This contract position involves working primarily day shifts with a rotating weekend schedule and occasional on-call responsibilities.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in Electrophysiology (EP), specifically with Stimming procedures.
  • Proficiency with cardiovascular imaging in a cath lab environment.
  • Familiarity with advanced equipment such as Philips, GE, Carto, and Ensite labs.
  • Ability to perform and assist with procedures like LHC/PCI, TAVR, and EP Study Ablations.
  • Flexible and adaptable to varied schedules, including call shifts and rotating weekends.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the cardiology team to prepare and assist with EP and cath lab procedures.
  • Operate and maintain specialized imaging and mapping systems.
  • Monitor patient vitals and ensure safety throughout procedures.
  • Manage EMR documentation using Meditech and GE Mac Lab systems.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and weekend shifts as scheduled.

Schedule:

  • Day shift: 6:30 AM 4:00 PM, primarily 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts (Tuesday to Thursday).
  • Rotating weekends: 1-2 weekends within a six-week schedule.
  • Call duty: 1-2 nights per week within the six-week schedule.
