An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced professional skilled in cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures. This contract position offers the chance to work in a specialized medical imaging environment, supporting high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification or registry as a Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS, ARRT, or equivalent)
• Prior experience working in a cardiac catheterization lab performing diagnostic and interventional procedures
• In-depth knowledge of fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitoring, and sterile techniques
• Strong understanding of EKG interpretation and vascular access
• Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations and respond quickly to emergencies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient care and team collaboration
• Current BLS and ACLS certification

Schedule:

• Full-time hours, details to be provided during interview process

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare, operate, and maintain imaging and monitoring equipment for cardiac procedures
• Assist physicians during catheterizations, angioplasties, stent placements, and other cardiovascular interventions
• Monitor patient status and respond to acute changes throughout procedures
• Ensure strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols
• Document all relevant patient and procedural information accurately
• Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure readiness of the laboratory for each case
