Step into a vital role focused on delivering high-quality imaging care as a Cath Lab Tech. In this contract opportunity, you will play a critical part in supporting cardiac procedures using specialized imaging expertise within a dynamic clinical setting.

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week (4x10-hour shifts)
• Rotating on-call responsibilities
• Flexibility to work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays, as needed

Qualifications:

• Certification as RCIS or ARRT (If ARRT, a current New York State license is mandatory)
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification
• At least 3 years of experience in obstetrics (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of cardiac/interventional radiology procedures
• Ability to thrive in high-acuity and fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians in the cardiac catheterization lab with minimally invasive procedures, including prepping and positioning patients
• Collaborate closely with team members and physicians to ensure the safe, accurate completion of imaging procedures (physician operates X-ray equipment)
• Monitor patient condition and equipment throughout procedures, adjusting as necessary for optimal results
• Adhere to safety standards and infection control protocols
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation for procedures and patient care
• Provide exceptional, compassionate support to patients and families throughout their care experience
