An opportunity is available for a skilled professional with expertise in the Cath Lab environment, supporting state-of-the-art imaging procedures within a dynamic hospital setting. This contract position offers the chance to collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team while advancing your clinical experience.
Schedule / Hours:
- Full-time, 40 hours/week
- Four 10-hour shifts
- Rotating on-call requirement
- Must be available for two of the three winter holidays, if needed
Qualifications & Certifications:
- RCIS or ARRT certification required
- If credentialed through ARRT, an active New York State license is mandatory
- BLS certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
- At least three years of experience in OB setting preferred
Position Responsibilities:
- Support and assist with diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab procedures, ensuring quality imaging and patient safety at all times
- Collaborate closely with physicians and the care team; physicians will operate X-ray equipment
- Monitor and record patient data as needed during imaging procedures and interventions
- Prepare and maintain the Cath Lab environment for procedures, including equipment readiness and sterile technique
- Respond promptly to on-call and holiday coverage requirements
- Provide compassionate, competent care, maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards
