A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Imaging Cath Lab Technician to support cardiac catheterization procedures in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract role, based in Las Cruces, NM, offers a challenging and fast-paced environment where your specialized skills will directly contribute to patient care and successful cardiac interventions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technician with a focus on cardiac imaging
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification in Radiography
- Valid New Mexico state license
- Comfortable working day shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM with call and floating responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate imaging equipment for cardiac catheterization procedures
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations and other related procedures
- Monitor patient vitals and ensure safety protocols are strictly followed
- Maintain equipment and inventory, ensuring a sterile and efficient work environment
- Switch between assignments as needed, demonstrating flexibility in floating duties
Contract Details:
- Start as soon as possible
- 13-week duration
- Dayshift with call and floating duties
