Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday, 10-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
- On-call 10-14 days per schedule, including weekends and holidays
- No regular weekends, but weekend call is required
Key Qualifications:
- Associate of Science degree or completion of a Cardiovascular Tech program
- At least one year of procedural area experience, including Cath, IR, and EP circulation/scrubbing
- Demonstrated proficiency with Impella devices
- Experience assisting on structural heart cases: TAVR, Watchman/Amulet, PFO closure, Mitral Clip
- Familiarity with implantable devices: PPM, IABP
- Skilled with Defibrillators (ICDs) and ablation procedures
- ARRTR licensure, Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT) through Texas Department of Health
- BLS/ACLS certification via American Heart Association
- Equipment experience: EPIQ ultrasound machine
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical assistance for Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology procedures under physician direction
- Deliver high-quality patient care during cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures
- Competently perform emergency interventions when necessary
- Adhere to established clinical and safety standards
