Job Description

Step into a vital support role in a dynamic Catheterization Laboratory, where your expertise in imaging and electrophysiology will help ensure exceptional patient outcomes. This full-time contract opportunity is designed for professionals with a passion for cardiac care and a keen interest in Cath Lab technology.

Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology, associates degree in a healthcare-related field, or equivalent
  • State licensure required (MRT or LMRT as applicable)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS, AHA) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS, AHA) certifications required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS, AHA) required for independent work at pediatric facilities
  • At least one certification preferred, such as RCIS, RCES, RCS, ARRT (R/CI/CV/VI), RDMS, RDCS, or RVT
  • Must have electrophysiology (EP) experience
  • 0-1 year of acute care experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of aseptic technique, radiation safety, and Cath Lab equipment

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Cath Lab for procedures, ensuring equipment functionality, supply stocking, and room setup
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and support physicians during procedures by operating fluoroscopy and specialized imaging systems
  • Accurately document patient information, measurements, and procedural activities using electronic systems
  • Maintain exceptional patient safety and infection control standards, and uphold aseptic technique throughout
  • Serve as the radiation safety representative during X-ray procedures
  • Support patient transport, assist with access site management, and promote a safe, respectful care environment
  • Embody organizational principles of dignity, compassion, integrity, and teamwork
