Responsibilities:

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including left and right heart catheterizations, pacemaker/ICD implants, Watchman device insertions, IR procedures, vascular studies, and electrophysiology ablations.
• Collaborate closely with RNs and physicians to ensure safe, efficient patient care in a 2-room cardiac cath lab.
• Operate and maintain sophisticated fluoroscopy equipment (Philips, Siemens) and electronic medical records (MERGE Hemo, Meditech) for documentation.
• Adhere to unit procedural guidelines, including universal precautions, timeout procedures, and moderated sedation protocols.
• Participate in team-based patient care with typical patient ratios of 3 staff per patient procedure.
• Flexibly support day shift coverage primarily, with some availability on weekends and on-call shifts; schedule includes one full weekend plus two weekdays per four-week cycle.

Qualifications:

• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Prior cath lab experience with electrophysiology procedures preferred.
• Strong team player with a flexible approach to dynamic clinical environments.
• Candidates must be proficient with imaging technology and have a commitment to patient safety and care standards.

Schedule:

• Day shift hours on a 10-shift cycle covering weekends and weekdays.
• On-call availability for night shifts as needed.
