Key Qualifications:
- Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification or equivalent in related imaging discipline
- Current state licensure, as required for imaging professionals
- Proven experience as a Cath Lab Tech in clinical environments
- Strong understanding of cardiovascular and interventional procedures
- Proficiency with imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and digital imaging systems
- Excellent critical thinking, patient care, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
Schedule:
- Contract position; specific schedule to be discussed during interview
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate imaging equipment safely and accurately during cardiac catheterization and related procedures
- Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cath lab
- Monitor patients vital signs and maintain a sterile, safe environment
- Document procedures and patient information thoroughly in medical records
- Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and understanding
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in equipment maintenance and calibration for optimal performance
