Experienced Imaging - Cath Lab Tech professionals are invited to provide specialized support in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This contract opportunity allows you to work alongside multidisciplinary clinical teams to deliver precise, timely imaging crucial to cardiac diagnostics and interventions.
Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time contract assignment
- Flexible scheduling options may be available pending operational needs
Qualifications:
- Current and valid certification/licensure as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical cardiac catheterization laboratory
- Proficiency with imaging equipment and familiarity with interventional cardiology protocols
- Strong understanding of patient safety, radiation safety protocols, and sterile technique
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain high standards of care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, operate, and maintain imaging equipment for cardiac catheterizations and vascular procedures
- Assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular procedures, ensuring optimal image acquisition
- Monitor patient status throughout procedures, providing technical and patient care support
- Adhere to established protocols for documentation, safety, and infection control
- Assist in patient preparation and post-procedure care
- Maintain accurate records and ensure equipment readiness for emergent and scheduled procedures
