A highly skilled Cath Lab Technologist position is available on a contract basis, offering a structured schedule of four 10-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with on-call responsibilities. This role requires a minimum of one year of experience with demonstrated competency across all aspects of Cath Lab Diagnostics and Interventions, including Structural procedures. Candidates must hold an active West Virginia license and ARRT registration to begin, although applications with pending licenses may be considered.
Location: Hurricane, West Virginia, a community known for its scenic surroundings and close-knit atmosphere. Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures within the Cath Lab efficiently and safely.
- Manage a daily caseload averaging 8-10 cases per technologist.
- Participate in on-call rotation with a required 30-minute response time, covering weekends from Friday 7 PM through Monday 7 AM.
- Float within the Cath Lab to meet facility needs when necessary, though floating to sister facilities is not required.
- Chart and document procedures accurately using Cerner electronic health records.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year Cath Lab experience; first-timers are not eligible.
- Competency in all aspects of diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab procedures, including structural interventions.
- Active WV license and ARRT registration required upon start.
- Ability to respond promptly to on-call requirements.
- Compliance with facility policies; Not recognized for RCIS certification alone.
