This contract opportunity is ideal for Imaging Cath Lab Technologists seeking to apply their expertise in a dynamic cardiovascular setting. Located in Hollywood, FL, this role supports advanced cardiac care in a facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a focused, dedicated team.

The position is based on the 2nd floor of a prominent hospitals main building, supporting a 33-bed unit with a patient-to-staff ratio of 3:1 and a team of 23 professionals. The Cath Lab utilizes high-end equipment including MacLab, GE, and Philips systems, alongside Meditech for clinical documentation, ensuring a technologically advanced environment for delivering care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures including cardiac catheterizations, structural heart interventions, and peripheral vascular procedures
• Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care
• Utilize expertise in electrophysiology (EP) cases as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within Meditech
• Participate in call duties covering evenings and weekends

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid ACLS and BLS certifications mandatory
• Certifications as Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Radiology Technologist required
• Previous experience with coronary interventions and structural heart procedures preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong critical thinking skills and compassion for patient care
