Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification as RCIS or ARRT (New York State license required if ARRT)
  • BLS certification required
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification essential
  • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification required
  • At least three years of OB experience strongly preferred
  • Comfortable collaborating with physicians who operate the X-ray equipment
  • Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule
  • Open to working two of the three main winter holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support catheterization procedures in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring optimal imaging quality and patient safety
  • Use advanced clinical skills to assist with pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care
  • Adhere to established protocols and regulatory requirements for imaging and patient management
  • Respond efficiently to emergency situations during on-call shifts
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and communication when working with both patients and multidisciplinary staff
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records as part of the procedural workflow
