A Cath Lab Tech position is available for a contract role in Hammond, IN, within a cardiac catheterization lab setting. This opportunity offers a Monday through Friday schedule with options for 8-hour shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The role includes on-call responsibilities with holiday coverage requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures using specialized cath lab equipment
• Provide patient care for outpatient, inpatient, and emergent cases in the cardiac cath lab
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and safe procedural workflow
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system

Qualifications and Experience:

• Rad Tech State Licensure and ARRT Certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Cath Lab Tech
• Ability to float to a nearby cath lab location if needed
• Team-oriented approach preferred

The role supports a facility with a small unit size, maintaining a low 1:1 patient ratio, which ensures focused and attentive patient care within the cardiac cath lab environment.

Additional Information:

• Blue scrubs are provided for uniform compliance
• Initial orientation and specialized training on EPIC Cupid systems are required prior to the first day
• Parking and reporting instructions will be communicated on the first day at the Dyer location
