Support cardiovascular and peripheral vascular procedures by expertly assisting physicians in obtaining high-quality digital radiographic images. This role requires precision in operating advanced imaging equipment and a strong commitment to patient safety and care. The position is based in Goldsboro, NC, and offered as a contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and control radiographic equipment to acquire clear and precise images of the heart, peripheral vessels, and other required structures.
• Set and adjust x-ray acquisition parameters for cardiac and peripheral imaging.
• Assist in patient care before, during, and after procedures, including sterile preparation and line/device setup.
• Conduct daily room preparations, equipment maintenance, and inventory management adhering to regulatory standards.
• Utilize specialized imaging systems such as IVUS, HeartLab, ICE, and manage data documentation and verification.
• Practice radiation safety protocols consistently.
• Anticipate and respond to patient and physician needs, supporting effective clinical workflow.
• May perform lead responsibilities, including staff training and workload assignments.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Skilled in cardiac catheterization lab imaging and procedures.
• Familiarity with hemodynamics, diagnostic/interventional techniques, and device protocols.
• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain cath lab equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation.
• Knowledge of radiation safety standards and patient care protocols.
• Capability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
