A healthcare facility in Germantown, TN, is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technician or EP Tech to join their team on a contract basis. This role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work in a Level I Trauma Center that provides short-term acute care with advanced medical services.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Tech or EP Tech
- Completion of at least one travel assignment preferred for first-timers
- Must comply with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) guidelines if applicable
- Valid drivers license required upon submission
- Ability to work on-call and weekends as needed
Schedule / Hours:
- 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 - 15:30); shifts could be subject to change during the interview process
- Weekend and on-call responsibilities as required
- Block schedule accommodations are not available
- Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius due to local acceptance policy
Responsibilities:
- Assist with imaging procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab or electrophysiology lab
- Provide patient preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care according to hospital protocols
- Operate imaging equipment and ensure accurate documentation of procedures
- Collaborate closely with the interventional team to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
