Deliver advanced cardiac care as a skilled Cath Lab Technologist in an engaging, supportive environment. This role offers a weekday schedule with the opportunity for occasional on-call and holiday coverage, providing both structure and variety. Take part in delivering specialized patient-focused services using state-of-the-art catheterization lab technology.

Location: Situated in Gary, Indiana, this position is connected to a facility featuring a dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab with 2 beds and a 1:1 patient ratio. The unit serves a mix of outpatient, inpatient, and emergent cases, offering a dynamic and varied clinical experience. You will also have the possibility of floating to a nearby Munster Cath lab, broadening your expertise within the same healthcare system.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Or option for 10-hour days, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., four days per week
• 40 hours guaranteed weekly
• On-call and holiday coverage required

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate advanced catheterization lab equipment to assist physicians during cardiac procedures
• Monitor patient vitals and assist with diagnostic imaging as needed
• Maintain strict adherence to safety and procedural protocols
• Collaborate closely with the cardiac care team to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in unit orientation and complete required education modules, including EPIC Cupid

Qualifications:

• Valid Radiologic Technologist State Licensure and ARRT Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 2-3 years experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
