As a Cath Lab Tech working in a nationally recognized healthcare setting, youll collaborate with dedicated professionals in a 257-bed hospital known for cutting-edge cardiac care, oncology, and trauma services. Fort Walton Beach Medical Center stands out as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center and an Accredited Chest Pain Center, offering exposure to the latest techniques, technology, and a strong multidisciplinary team environment.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM
- STEMI Call: Approximately 10-12 days per month (self-scheduling)
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Prior Cath Lab experience required
- Proficiency with Structural Heart procedures, IABP, Impella, IFR, FFR
- Mastery in PCI, PFO, Impella, IABP procedures
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Experience with GE Innova, Impella; documentation in MacLab, Meditech
- Knowledge of TAVR, PFO, Atherectomy, PCI, R/LHC, Implants, DCCV, TEE
- Team player comfortable floating within EP and Stress Lab as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Ensure accuracy in documentation using MacLab and Meditech systems
- Collaborate with expert physicians and techs in a 7-bed cardiac holding unit
- Deliver patient-centered care, contributing to award-winning patient experiences
- Maintain hospital standards by adhering to dress code (surgical scrubs provided)
