Job Description

Deliver advanced cardiac imaging support as a valued Catheterization Laboratory Technologist. This contract position offers you the chance to work with a collaborative healthcare team in a dynamic clinical setting. Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or related imaging field required
  • Prior experience in a high-volume cath lab environment preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and sterile technique
  • Proficient with imaging equipment, monitoring systems, and post-procedure documentation
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to urgent clinical scenarios
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, operate, and maintain imaging and monitoring equipment for cardiac procedures
  • Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and related diagnostic or interventional procedures
  • Ensure accurate imaging, radiation safety, and quality control standards are met
  • Complete thorough and timely procedural documentation in accordance with healthcare protocols
  • Support patient care before, during, and after procedures
  • Maintain a clean and sterile procedural environment, following infection prevention policies
  • Collaborate with nurses, radiologists, and physicians to deliver top-quality care
