Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent imaging credential
  • ARRT or RCIS certification preferred
  • Previous experience in a Cath Lab or invasive cardiovascular imaging setting required
  • Strong knowledge of imaging techniques and equipment operation for cardiac procedures
  • Familiarity with sterile technique, radiation safety, and emergency protocols
  • Comfort with electronic health records documentation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
  • Operate and maintain specialized imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining steps and addressing concerns
  • Monitor vital signs and report changes to the medical team
  • Adhere strictly to safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards
