Job Description

A skilled professional is needed for a Cath Lab Technologist position supporting advanced imaging procedures. This contract role requires a 13-week commitment and starts June 15th. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with required participation in the call rotationone call back per week and one weekend call back every six weeks.

Key qualifications:

  • ARRT certification and current IEMA license
  • Active CPR certification
  • Experience with GE imaging equipment
  • Strong proficiency in initiating IVs
  • Previous experience in a cath lab environment

Primary responsibilities:

  • Conduct complex diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiology catheterization lab
  • Accurately operate and maintain GE imaging equipment
  • Monitor patient well-being and assist in the safe completion of procedures
  • Establish and monitor IV lines for patients as needed
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and technologists to ensure quality care
  • Uphold safety protocols and maintain accurate records in accordance with departmental guidelines
  • Be available for call backs according to the schedule (one weeknight per week and one weekend every six weeks)
