Job Description

Advance your career by supporting a modern cardiac catheterization lab, utilizing your expertise in advanced imaging procedures. This opportunity involves working alongside an interdisciplinary team, assisting with a wide range of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. The role emphasizes proficiency with specialized equipment and a deep understanding of high-risk interventions.

Schedule

  • Monday through Thursday, 6:30 am 5:00 pm
  • On-call requirement: 1-2 days per week and every third weekend (on average)

Key Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Cath Lab setting, with strong skills in scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating
  • Ability to operate advanced imaging technology, including GE C-arm and Mac Lab systems
  • Registered with ARRT or OBMI, or eligibility to obtain registration
  • Proficiency in supporting high-risk PCI, TAVR, hybrid vascular procedures, and interventional radiology (IR)
  • Comfortable working with a variety of patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
  • Strong communication abilities and collaborative team approach

Core Responsibilities

  • Prepare, operate, and troubleshoot sophisticated imaging and monitoring equipment during cardiovascular procedures
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and other clinicians, ensuring optimal workflow and patient care before, during, and after procedures
  • Follow strict surgical asepsis and safety guidelines at all times
  • Assist with documentation, supply management, and equipment preparation to ensure efficiency
  • Respond promptly to on-call situations, maintaining poise and professional performance
