Job Description

Advance your career specializing in Cath Lab imaging technology within a respected hospital environment. This contract opportunity provides the chance to contribute your expertise in advanced cardiovascular procedures while working alongside a dynamic team of professionals.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday, 6:30 AM 5:00 PM
  • On-call: 12 days per week and every third weekend on average

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technologist in a high-acuity setting
  • Proficiency in scrub, monitor, and circulate roles within the lab
  • Thorough knowledge of GE C-arm & Mac Lab systems
  • Expertise with arterial and venous interventions, including high-risk PCI, TAVR, hybrid vascular procedures, and Interventional Radiology (IR)
  • Credentialed by ARRT or OBMI
  • Strong interpersonal and technical skills, able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to take call responsibilities as scheduled

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians during diverse diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
  • Operate and maintain imaging and monitoring equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality
  • Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes during procedures
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and infection control standards
  • Accurately document patient care and procedural details in electronic medical records
  • Support colleagues and contribute to an efficient, team-oriented work environment
  • Participate in ongoing education to stay current with procedural advancements
