Job Description

Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with specialized skills in Electrophysiology (EP), particularly in Stimming procedures, to support a busy cardiac unit in Englewood, CO. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with advanced imaging technologies and a collaborative healthcare team focused on delivering exceptional cardiac care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform imaging and technical support duties in the Cath Lab, including LHC/PCI, TAVR, and EP Study Ablation procedures.
  • Operate and maintain equipment such as Philips, GE, Carto, and Ensite systems.
  • Collaborate closely with the clinical team to ensure high standards of patient care and safety during procedures.
  • Manage call duties approximately 1-2 nights per week on a rotating schedule.
  • Participate in rotating weekend shifts (1-2 weekends every 6 weeks).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current RCIS certification required.
  • Proven experience in Electrophysiology, with specific expertise in Stimming procedures.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems including Meditech and GE Mac Lab.
  • Ability to adapt flexibly to varying schedules and clinical demands.

Work Schedule:

  • Day Shift: 6:30 AM 4:00 PM, primarily on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (4 x 9-hour shifts).
  • Rotating weekends and call coverage as required.

This role supports a large hospital with 480 beds and four Cath Labs, providing exposure to complex cardiovascular cases. The units experienced team of nine staff maintains a patient-focused environment on the hospitals main building, 3rd floor.
