Experienced Cath Lab Technologists are needed for a full-time role based at a healthcare facility in Eielson AFB, AK. This contract position offers a dynamic work environment requiring advanced skills in cardiac imaging and intervention.
Responsibilities:
- Perform complex diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols.
- Utilize independent judgment while adhering to established safety and procedural guidelines.
- Facilitate orientation and ongoing development of new and current Cath Lab clinical staff, serving as a preceptor and role model.
- Support clinical staff competency, patient safety initiatives, and evidence-based practice standards.
- Assist with onboarding of new physicians to the Cath Lab department.
- Participate in rotating on-call, weekend, holiday, and floating shifts as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
- Current certification from ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist).
- Proficient knowledge of radiographic and interventional cardiac procedures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to mentor clinical staff.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
Work Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week.
- Rotating on-call responsibilities.
- Weekend, holiday, and floating shifts as required.
