A skilled Imaging Cath Lab Technician position is available in Edna, TX, offering the opportunity to provide critical support in a cardiac catheterization laboratory. This role is contract-based with a start date as soon as possible and involves working onsite in a state-of-the-art cardiac cath lab setting.

Location Overview:
Edna, TX, is a welcoming community known for its small-town charm, affordable living, and proximity to larger cities for added amenities. The worksite offers a supportive environment focused on advanced cardiac care.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Call every other week, 7 days
• No 48-hour shifts or block scheduling
• Maximum return-to-office time: 3 days

Responsibilities:

• Assist cardiologists and imaging staff in performing cardiac catheterization and related imaging studies
• Demonstrate critical thinking and sound judgment during procedures
• Ensure timely, accurate completion of studies under direction from the Cardiologist, Chief Technologist, or Director of Imaging Services
• Maintain patient safety with a 1:1 patient ratio in a 2-bed lab
• Operate EMR systems (MedHost and Maclab) efficiently
• Comply with all clinical and safety protocols

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from AHA or ARC
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a cardiac catheterization lab setting
• Ability to provide clinical documentation with home address and social security number at submission
• Must reside greater than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
